Live Drawing

During my MA, I rekindled my love for drawing from observation. I also learned about reportage illustration, which is similar to photojournalism, but with a sketchbook. I like capturing moments of people at work or going about their day and telling stories through my drawings.

Fieldwork and science

I am a marine ecologist as well as an artist, and love to draw other artists and researchers at work to show conservation in action.

Venice Fellowship

I spent a month in Venice in May 2025 as a Fellow with the British Council, drawing my experience of working at the Biennale.

Whenever I travel in the UK, I visit National Trust properties. I love to draw people enjoying and learning about our historical landmarks.

I love the sea, and am usually in or near it. An ongoing project, 'At the beach' is a collection of drawings of people enjoying the seaside.
